Wirral Symphony Orchestra is seeking to appoint a

CONDUCTOR.

Following twelve years in post, the present Conductor has successfully gained new employment in the south of England, and we are now looking to

engage a new conductor to continue the tradition of ongoing musical development within this, the largest amateur orchestra in Wirral.

Wirral Symphony Orchestra has recently celebrated its Silver Anniversary, and the past twenty five years have seen it develop in numbers, ambition

and ability from a small ensemble to an orchestra of some seventy players for each of its three main concerts per season. Programmes have included

many of the major symphonic works and concerti, plus a number of collaborations with local choral societies.

There are established links with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in terms of sectional coaching.
